Still Alive

Journal Entry: Tue Aug 7, 2012, 2:08 PM

For those who were wondering what happened... I've simply been pursuing new ideas and opportunities.

I haven't done much with my website, but I assure you all new content will be posted there. I want my website to be the primary focus and source for my content. Not DeviantArt, not YouTube, not anything else. The point being- website, website, website.

I took an interest in bead art last year and it has served as another creative output for me. So much, that I've decided to create bead sprites/portraits/jewelry to sell online and at art shows. You can find my Etsy shop at:

My "business" will serve not only as a crafts store, but will also sell art supplies, trading cards, action figures, video games, etc. It will be an all-around hobby shop. Check out our motto:

Hobby Access - Your source for hobby-related products and accessories.

It's simple. It's clean. What more do you want?

Also, we've got a website we're working on for the business. So, be on the lookout for that. We've already got the domain and everything. I expect it to be complete around Sep. 2012.

PS: By "we", I mean it's not going to be a solo project. (More on this later.)

For those wondering about the whole web design thing and why the number of deviations have declined... I am/will be retiring from web design, at least when it comes to freelance. Basically, I won't be available for hire to design/create websites anymore. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE web design. It's my passion. It's my life. It's what I do. However, without a college education, it's hard to make profit from it.

Not to mention, I have a day job. It's hard to enjoy life when the only free time I have is spent doing more... work. For one person.

At least with my bead art, I can create art for entire families to enjoy as a home decoration piece. Or jewelry that your friends show an interest in when you take it to school.

All in all, this is the new direction I'm taking now.

All my current web design clients will have this blog sent to them in the form of an email/letter. No more edits/updates/changes will be made to the website(s) I've created for you. If you need any usernames, passwords, or files backed up, I might have them (I'm not your personal storage service). If so, I will send them to you as soon as possible.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Please know that all my contact information can be found on my website:

If you wish to commission me to create an art piece for you, go ahead and contact me. I can provide you with a quote and an estimated date for completion.

With that, I leave you with one final note to bring this blog together. Enjoy:
